This is the best postcard I have ever seen on PostSecret, which is a project started by a guy named Frank that receives hundreds of post cards every week on which people tell their deepest secrets.

It’s really true, though… Everyone is imperfect, and it seems like everyone tries to hide it.  I know I do, and I deeply appreciate the people in my life who allow themselves the space to be imperfect and to just be themselves.  This doesn’t mean that certain imperfections ought to be pursued or something weird like that, but in my life I’ve noticed that when I am able to come to terms with the fact that I’m imperfect (and always will be) I feel healthier.  I can (and do) strive to be a better person, of course, but I’m learning how to just be me, and that feels right.

If you’ve never seen PostSecret, check it out… it can be depressing or vulgar at times, but it is something that I’ve come to love and I hope you do, too.
