Two New Photo Albums

…Because there have been two exciting events here at Zambikes lately!

The first was the completion of our first set of bamboo bikes. We’re working in cooperation with Craig Calfee and his Bamboosero project and it was so great to see one of the bikes being ridden, especially because it was pulling our bamboo bicycle ambulance!

The next event was the delivery of ten Zambulances to ten health clinics on the outskirts all around Lusaka. It was such an enjoyable experience to see people be a bit skittish about the thing when we got there and unloaded it from the truck… Then we talked with them for a bit and finally convinced one person to ride and one person to drive and then everyone got so much warmer towards the idea when they saw that it was easy.

I loved watching the transition of it all over and over again and I really am so happy to be a part of an organization that’s literally saving lives.

Lastly, on the right side of my blog here you’ll see an email subscription form… If you sign up it will email you my blog updates when I post them… So please keep up with me and sign up!
