The rich nations can afford to give it. “Enlightened globalisation”, as Sachs calls it, can lead to eradication of poverty. Forty-five percent said Americans should make “major sacrifices” to pay for the effort, but only 20 percent said they would be willing to make those sacrifices themselves.”

Grant, I have news for you. APU is teaming up with the American Red Cross to do disaster relief training. I did it last weekend and I’ll be going to somewhere on the gulf coast within 4 months for 9 days. I can get you information if you want to do the training and stuff. Let me know.
